I tucked this beauty in the back of the gallery when we returned from being displaced by Hurricane Florence. It's been there ever since. Heading to our very first "Original Art Only" art show this weekend, I knew it was time to frame it up. While I was working on it, I recalled my thoughts as I painted the piece. The reality settled in deep knowing our gallery, our home, our life as we knew it could be gone in the blink of an eye. Why wasn't I worried? Should I be? Then it hit me... God's eye is constantly watching over us. He is our safe harbor, our calm in the storm, and His feathers cover us, and under His wings, we will find refuge; His faithfulness will be our shield and rampart. It was the whisper I needed to hear. (Psalm 91:4 is hidden in the painting)
