AND HE SAW IT WAS GOOD Il

In Genesis, the first book of the Bible, we find the account of creation. After a day’s work each verse ends with these sweet words, “and He saw it was good." Can you see Him? God, smiling down on what He created, knowing it was good.

As an artist who creates daily, I believe that when I complete a piece of my art, I have a hint of understanding of how He must have felt. I love how endearing God was after each masterpiece of creation was finished. God saw it was "good". It is simply stated, humble, and sure. I painted this baby turtle and my heart meditated on this particular Scripture. The beginning of life is so good, and everything begins with our Creator, God.
