“Life Sustainable” Isaiah 61:2-3 God turns ashes to beauty. This painting was done for a local restaurant Caribsea. The restaurant was named after a shipwreck off of the crystal coast. In the painting, I show the shipwreck with divers and tiger sharks. This happens to be one of the more popular dive spots teeming with sea life. I titled it Life Sustainable because of the way the restaurant gets the seafood from the local waters and is harvested so that it supports seafood for the future. As a separate theme, I included a beauty from ashes story woven into the piece. Much like how this tragic wreck now serves as a dive site to local seafood served at a great place to gather with friends, God does similar work in us. He wants to preserve us taking our wrecked brokenness and using it for something wonderful and new.
